Ethnic Enclaves Street Talk

Posted by on November 05, 2017

Parliamentarians from the Australian State of New South Wales criticised Mark Latham for interviewing people on the streets of the suburb of Fairfield to assess their English skills.

They accused him of misrepresenting how few residents could speak English and criticised him for claiming that we cannot be a multicultural society without people being able to speak English.

Taking up their challenge, Mark Latham returned to Fairfield to have another look at the English speaking ability of residents in the area.
